THE AMT HotRod 2 HARMONICA MICROPHONE
The HR-2 is a clip on version of the HR1 hand held microphone system for Harmonica. The microphone comes with a spring loaded end clip to attach it directly to the Harmonica. The whole unit then fits comfortably into the hands toenable you to produce cupping effects (wah wahs, tremelo etc).
No more problems if you have small hands, or have a hand disability like myself, trying to hold and juggle with large bullet type mics.

To achieve the distorted "Chicago Blues" sound, one can overdrive the stage amplifier or use and overdrive processor rather than distorting the microphone.

Merano Blues Harps all have Brass reeds and are easy to bend notes with. They also have a plastic comb, which has the benefit of never bowing due to moisture, giving a distinct advantage over those with a wooden comb. The individual harmonica's come in their own plastic case complete with cleaning cloth.
Merano harps are also terrific for rock, jazz or country. So if you are just a beginner learning the scales and bending notes, or a veteran player licking up a storm, I highly recommend these harps. They do not take as much power to play as some of the other makes of Harps. Just simple easy blowing and drawing will create a sound that is rich and full. It has a great feel to it in your hands as you play.
