The 50'/60's Music Scene in Portsmouth There is currently a great revival in interest in the 50's and 60's music scene in Pompey. Spearheaded by Dr Dave Allen from Portsouth University, this project has bought back together many people who played in bands and groups locally during that period. Please take a look at the blog containing comments from many local people and also the Flickr picture site showing many of these old groups and bands.

The West Town Open Mic Night located in the West Town Inn, Station Road, Hayling island. You will be sure of a warm welcome. Just bring your instrument or voice. PA, drums and backup musicians always available.
